| Greetings Due to the development of electronics, global-scale information society was brought from fixed to flexible, from big to small, crossed the framework of our way of thinking until now. And due to the new power and intelligence, it is said that we've entered "The Great Navigation Age" which changed the world map. Even in the industrial society, this new era demands a rapid response to originality, high-performance and high economical products development and creating a pleasent environment. After performing these researches, what is indispensable is an accurate analog data measurement for data inspection in the experiments and on the field. To follow the product's advancement, a high speed and mass capacity analog data measurement recording requests are increasing. In Elmec, we have developed external DMA type A/D converter which enable to measure mass capacity data in ultra high-speed, FFT 1/3 octave, wavelet analysis package etc., and we have made over 1500 products such as, new material research/ acoustics and vibrations analyzer/ engine combustion analyzer/ waveform analyzer etc. Moreover this low price, intelligent PC system had obtained big reliance from people of each fields. Especially, to realize a high-performance and low price PC analog measurement system which equipped with both measuring and processing ability, is to widely speed up researches and development schedule facing the new era. |

1977 The present CEO, Mr. Hirano Ken-ichiro, retired from Takeda Riken Industrial (present ADVANTEST) in August 1978, and make good use of the analog and digital technologies that have been cultivated over the years, then established Elmec Corp. in October as a company that interface electronics and all industries. 1978 - Developed digital thermometer and inspection devices. 1979 - Developed measurement and control system based on TRS-80 personal computer. - To be the first in the world as a forerunner to developed combustion flow auto-adjust judgment device which based on DOS PC disperse process system makes it changed to a mini-computer. 1980 - Standardization of the I/O interface for personal computers, started selling EC-8800. 1981 - Begun overseas trade. 1982 - Developed stepping motor angle inspection device.
